About the opportunity

As Application Support Specialist will provide 3rd line support to the business and the global HR team in the use of our customised Human Capital Management system and other online HR platforms.

You will work with internal clients who expect prompt and professional service, for which our HR teams require quality systems supported by IT staff. This is a demanding role that requires an analytical mind-set capable of obtaining a solid understanding of the systems used in HR, alongside a dedication to customer service that meets our exceptional standards. The candidate must be able to use initiative, be highly motivated, organised and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors and responds to service delivery requests and issues from the user base.
  • Maintain configuration and development of our customised HCM System, including testing and supporting the stages to upgrade, develop, and build new processes.
  • Review and document processes and assess recommendations for new solutions, improvements, and/or enhancements to existing company or HR related processes and procedures via the use of technology.
  • Identify and track system or related process issues including documenting contingencies that occur during the entire course for a proper audit trail of resolution.
  • Prioritise internal change requests and communicate timelines to the business
  • Ensure system configuration changes are tested and documented according to internal audit controls before changes applied to production
  • Resolves complex system issues and data errors.
