Originally from Slovakia, Veronika joined the CML team in early 2023, bringing with her a wealth of legal knowledge experience working on immigration law in other jurisdictions.

Prior to working in immigration law, Veronika pursued and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law, followed by an LL.M, and became a regulated immigration consultant in Canada. This educational background and professional experience has prepared her well for her current role at CML, despite the unique challenges posed by the Cayman’s immigration laws and regulations. Veronika is committed to providing excellent customer service, managing clients’ needs, and processing applications with meticulous attention to detail.

One of Veronika’s biggest achievements prior to joining CML was her work with refugees and asylum seekers in Canada. By offering guidance and support throughout the complex process of seeking asylum, she has been fortunate to assist refugees in their journey towards a better future. Veronika continues this support even now from Cayman; ensuring that all refugees receive the dignity, compassion, and respect they deserve.

Veronika loves sport shooting, fishing, and hunting (when she can get off the island); it’s a way to challenge herself and appreciate the beauty of nature.
