Offshore Insolvency, Restructuring & Forensics Jobs

what to expect

Work on some of the most high-profile assignments whilst enjoying a work-life balance that is impossible to beat. The offshore world is an exciting place for insolvency and corporate recovery professionals offering the chance to work with complex, multi-faceted liquidations and insolvencies and providing a comprehensive range of solutions to meet client needs.

Aside from the high salaries, low tax, and a coastal lifestyle, the work itself can be particularly attractive with the prevalence of cross-border cases, high profile internationally contentious assignments, asset tracing, and forensics. We also see candidates consistently maintain their grade when returning back to their home jurisdictions.

Earning Potential

Higher, tax-free, or low-tax salaries in offshore jurisdictions make it an attractive prospect for those looking to improve their earning potential.

Career Potential

Enhance your career with international financial services experience at a globally recognised firm, with the potential to achieve more rapid promotion than is typical onshore.

Work-Life Balance

Life offshore is often more balanced, with shorter commutes and more balanced work hours than onshore. This topped with an island lifestyle makes for paradise found.

What Experience is Needed?

To be considered for offshore insolvency positions, you should have at least 2-3 years of experience in insolvency and restructuring. This experience should have been gained in a public accounting or insolvency firm and should include dealing with both voluntary and involuntary liquidations, administrations, receiverships, and corporate restructuring.

You should also have completed an Accounting designation (CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA) or Insolvency qualification (ARITA, JIEB, CPI or equivalent).
