We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established local organisation for an experienced IT Technician to provide high-quality technical support across a busy and dynamic environment. In this role, you will ensure that all IT systems, devices, and classroom technologies operate smoothly, delivering excellent user support while maintaining reliable and secure infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties
As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 11 laptops, desktops, and peripherals
  • Providing day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting issues, and managing support tickets efficiently
  • Supporting classroom technologies, including interactive smart boards and digital teaching tools
  • Managing and maintaining mobile devices across multiple platforms (Windows, Android, iOS)
  • Delivering Audio-Visual (AV) setup and live support for events, presentations, and productions
  • Monitoring IT systems to ensure optimal performance and resolving issues proactively
  • Liaising with external providers to escalate network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity issues
  • Maintaining accurate IT asset inventory, including hardware and software tracking  



Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support or technician position within a professional or educational environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Android, and iOS platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Intune, OneDrive, user management)
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and AV systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support a diverse user base
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond to urgent support needs
  • A recognised certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
  • Interest or experience in Audio-Visual systems, including sound, projection, and lighting equipment
