As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 11 laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Providing day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting issues, and managing support tickets efficiently
- Supporting classroom technologies, including interactive smart boards and digital teaching tools
- Managing and maintaining mobile devices across multiple platforms (Windows, Android, iOS)
- Delivering Audio-Visual (AV) setup and live support for events, presentations, and productions
- Monitoring IT systems to ensure optimal performance and resolving issues proactively
- Liaising with external providers to escalate network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity issues
- Maintaining accurate IT asset inventory, including hardware and software tracking
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support or technician position within a professional or educational environment
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Android, and iOS platforms
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Intune, OneDrive, user management)
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and AV systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support a diverse user base
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond to urgent support needs
- A recognised certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
- Interest or experience in Audio-Visual systems, including sound, projection, and lighting equipment
