We are recruiting on behalf of an established organisation seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of strategic IT and business projects. In this role, you will drive planning, execution, and successful delivery of cross functional initiatives, ensuring projects are aligned with organisational goals and completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities and Duties
As Senior Project Officer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, timelines, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Leading cross-functional project planning and coordinating implementation activities.
  • Monitoring project performance, identifying risks, and resolving operational issues.
  • Managing internal resources and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Facilitating project meetings and updating stakeholders on progress.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives that align with organisational goals.
  • Prioritising tasks and driving project milestones to successful completion.
  • Ensuring all project activities adhere to relevant policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Project Management or Business Administration.
  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), considered a strong asset.
  • 4–6 years’ project management experience, ideally with exposure to IT?driven initiatives.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem?solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder?management skills.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with public sector operations and/or pension administration (desirable).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast?paced environment.
