A well-established business in Cayman is looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role working closely with Senior Management and teams across the business, with responsibility for the day-to-day management accounting and financial reporting activities of the company.
About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build their career within a commercial, internal finance environment and gain exposure to the operations of a busy and growing business.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations; supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end close; preparing and analyzing financial and management reports; and investigating variances, trends and potential financial risks.
This is a varied position offering the opportunity to take real ownership of key accounting activities while developing a strong understanding of the commercial operations behind the numbers.
About You
You’ll be an ambitious and commercially minded accounting professional with at least 4 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience and strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
A full professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, CA is required.
