The Cayman Islands moves to the top of the offshore rankings

Much hard work from the dedicated workforce of the Cayman Islands has contributed to an improved ranking for Cayman in the latest Global Financial Centres Index. Cayman has moved up five places to #34 in the widely quoted index for ranking financial centres.


Best of all, Cayman ranks as #1 among all offshore jurisdictions which is the key indicator of competitiveness for similar regulatory and business offerings. There is more work to be done in terms of competing in all sectors that fall under the general financial services banner, but this lofty ranking should lend both encouragement and confidence to those practicing and transacting in the Cayman Islands.
